What our guests say

We arrived late in the night (around 9pm). The owner was there and extremely welcoming. The kitchen had been closed but they opened it up again to make us a quick plate. We were extremely grateful. Waking up in the morning was a treat - the platforms to get to and fro the areas of the resort at well built and offers a great self guided jungle tour. Really well done. We were pleased with our accommodation for the price and enjoyed the menu with variety. Nice staff. We walked less than 10 minutes to see the orangutan sanctuary. We would return here!!

Very memorable hotel, located within walking distance from the sanctuaries. This hotel is not so much about luxurious rooms or modern features, but it’s the gardens that set it apart. The hotel is made up of several buildings scattered across a large estate and connected by long walkways. This means that even something as simple as walking from your room to the restaurant becomes a nice experience, as there is always interesting wildlife to be seen in or near the hotel’s lakes and gardens. The food in the restaurant is pretty good, too. Plus, you can eat next to the turtle pond, which is an attraction by itself.

Amazing hotel in the middle of the jungle in Sepilok. The hotel grounds are huge, on the walk to your room you'll see and hear lots of birds. The main reason to stay there is access to the conservancies nearby. The restaurant closes at 7pm so place your order early. The rooms are big and clean.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to our jungle tour. Pleasant place, beautiful surroundings, clean and yummy food. I had an veg omelette and some watermelon. Service was good and friendly. To brought us bread to feed the fish below the restaurant which entertained us for a while. They also had at resident cat which was friendly.
