Access
Getting to the centre - The centre is situated on the east coast of Sabah, 23 km from Sandakan. Sandakan can be reached from Kota Kinabalu by bus or by frequent daily flights on MAS (Malaysian Airline System) which takes only 45 minutes. Sepilok can be reached from Sandakan town by public bus (8 daily services from the central mini-bus terminal in front of NAK HOTEL. Inquire for the Sepilok 'Batu 14 line'). From the airport, the most convenient way to reach Sepilok is by taxi.

Registration & Information
Visitor Reception Centre - Stop here to register and pay the entrance fee. Collect a 'Walking Guide' which show the location of trails and points of interest (available at minimum charge).

Ticketing counter is opened from 9.00am-11.00am and 2.00pm-3.30pm. daily.

What to see and do
Orang Utan feeding platform A
Daily: 10.00am & 3.00pm Friday: 10.00am only

Mangrove Forest Trail - This trail will take about 2-3 hours walking one way. Interesting features such as scenic stream, water-holes, transitional forest, pristine lowland rain forest, boardwalk into mangrove forest and wildlife track; are to be experienced. Visitors should enquire at the Visitor Reception Centre for more information about this walk.
